I have two cases the string color is different on the second case. It has no effect to the fuse whatsoever the Chinese manufacturer with whatever they have available they do not source special colored string. They get what the cheapest as an available so you may receive a blue colored string or a chartreuse colored string wrap. It is all the same. This product is manufactured in 2019. It is fresh. It is new, but please don’t be discouraged by my other listing for my generic high-quality Chinese time fuse at a cheaper price this year is the brand name.
